Flowy

Loving flowy tops lately! Ha, I seriously always have but now even more that I am pregnant. Somedays I love showing off the bump in a snug fitting dress or top and other days I love the look of a flowy top or dress. This top is perfect for me because it is non-maternity so I will be able to wear it during my pregnancy as well as after!

Today marks 23 weeks pregnant! I can't believe it - I am more than halfway there! It is so surreal to think we will have a new family member in less than 4 months! I am starting to plan and decorate his nursery which has been so exciting! Just so many things to do still! Hope you all have a lovely week!

Who else is loving the off-the-shoulder look this summer? It is almost everywhere I look and right when I think I am over it, well, I’m not quite done yet. Especially at this stage of my pregnancy. These are THE perfect shirts for us momma’s to be. I mean, they look chic and show a little shoulder while keeping things comfortable. This one has been on serious rotation in my closet,  I mean – serious. Maybe that means I just need to buy more! Ha – that always seems to be my solution, more shopping.

 What a way to end the week! Last night was so special and was spent on the beach at San Diego's most iconic hotel, Hotel Del Coronado. Hosted by Love Tatum x Hotel Del we were spoiled with gourmet s'mores on the beach, fresh coconut, sparklers, great company, and so much more. The night ended with some yummy bites (those brussel sprouts though!) from ENO Pizzeria & Wine Bar which is located right outside of the Hotel Del.

Nice Day for a White Jumpsuit

It's Friday!! I couldn't be happier, and I am on a little vacation to top it off! I am not any where tropical or foreign but I am in Ohio visiting my family and attending a friend's wedding. Sometimes it is good to just get away for a few days and focus on seeing friends and family.

Thursday's Things

 

I want to show you guys some of my favorite go-to pieces each week & I am going to start it off this week with one of my favorite druzy cuffs by Love Tatum & the watch I wear basically everyday by Larsson & Jennings. 

I am sure many of you have seen these watches on other bloggers via Instagram and it is one I have wanted for such a long time! I finally decided to go for it, because it is somewhat affordable for a watch. I honestly wear it almost every day and receive compliments all the time! It has a big face but is SIMPLE & not over cluttered with crystals or smaller dials on the background.

Also, this beautiful cuff is a black druzy cuff from my friend Tatum’s jewelry line, Love Tatum. I picked this one up at her last sample sale and find myself wearing it all the time. Her pieces are always well-made, timeless pieces that add a bit of pizazz to your outfit. One of my favorite ways to get dressed is to put on an all black outfit, good shoes, good bag, and then top it off with some awesome gold jewelry.

Stepping Into a New Year

New year, new you? January 1st, 2016 - the beginning of a brand new year. A fresh start. A time to reinvent. For many of us this is true, and for others not so much.

This scarf is literally eating my head and I love it! I have been bundling up in huge oversized knits lately and remaining oh-so comfortable.

Sometimes I wonder how I ever managed the freezing temps in the midwest. I think this day it was in the mid 60's in sunny San Diego and I was literally freeeeezing. Okay maybe not freezing, but you know...really really cold.

I am loving November. Cooler temps mean the ability to layer up a bit which can be so much fun.

Black velvet. Enough said. I have always been kind of obsessed with velvet anything. Bodysuits, capes, couches, curtains, you name it.

Finally starting to feel like fall here in sunny San Diego! It was absolutely beautiful this past weekend, a little rain here & there but other than that a beautiful cool breeze and some sun sneaking through the clouds. Made me want to run to the closest store, buy pumpkins & spray paint them white & silver (planning on doing that this week!).

Fall transition- SoCal Style. Fall is officially here & I couldn't be happier! We are still lingering around in the upper 80's and 90's but there is hope for cooler temperatures yet!

 Trying to stay cool yesterday was a task but this little romper & iced coffee was a huge life saver. Nothing like some lightweight fabric and a little (or a lot!) of wind to keep you cool when the sun is melting you.

Orange is one of those colors I really thought I'd never wear. Well, the say never say "never" because I guess there is always an exception to the rule.
