C O F F E E | S N A K E S K I N | L E A T H E R

So...this is how we dress in Southern California during our "winter" months.
Crop top ✔  Leather skirt ✔  Wool coat ✔

This entire outfit is brought to you by the lovely ZĂ©line, or should I just say with the exception of the turtleneck crop my outfit is made up of new & old Zara items. I purchased this coat before heading back East for the holidays and it has truly been my go-to in frigid cold and semi-cool weather alike. And the shoes to me are reminiscent of a pair of Aquazzura shoes I have been eyeing as of late- only I still want those shoes too!

How do you guys dress for your Winter weather?

This jacket is one of the main reasons I love thrifting! I honestly can't remember where or when I bought it, but I have had it for a few years now and it will never go out of style.

Also, I have been into silver jewelry more than ever over the past 6 months or so but lately I have been reverting back to my gold favorites. The chain ring on my left pointer ring is one of my favorite gold rings, and not just because of how awesome it is. I bought it while in NYC last Spring with my boy- therefore it has great memories attached to it as well!

As for the "FOX" ring this also has great memories attached to it! My best friend bought us these rings from Wildfox about a year or so back. She has the matching one that says WILD- it's like the BFF necklaces, only way cooler and in ring form!

S T R I P E S | F L O R A L S

Surprise, Surprise! I was sweating my bum off in this outfit today. I figured, well since it is January I might be able to get away with wearing a crop turtleneck and pants. In fact I thought I would even be a bit chilly, but the weather gods didn't have that in store for me today. Another sunny, beautiful, day and how can you help not to smile? The sunshine definitely keeps me happy!

I ordered these pants & their matching peplum top back in October but lately have been having a bit of fun pairing them with different tops such as this Reformation crop turtleneck. Although I usually don't wear a lot of prints (I tend to stick to solids, black and white mostly), I enjoy a good stripe/floral combo every once in a while.

Pre-Fall 2015 Favorites

ACNE STUDIOS

GIVENCHY

PROENZA SCHOULER

ROCHAS

STELLA MCCARTNEY

TIBI

VALENTINO

My top picks from Pre-Fall 2015 are above and I am finding it hard not to be excited for this season- yes already! We haven't even finished Winter yet and I'm already dreaming up outfits for next October! I've always been one for the Fall/Winter seasons over Spring/Summer. Whatever makes you happy...right?

Out of all of the above images my favorite pieces are the purple Acne Studios beanie, those Stella McCartney shoes, and basically every thing Valentino. From the printed flower child dresses to the structure cape-coat and that beaded gown (red-carpet piece for sure), Valentino definitely ranks in as my favorite designer for Pre-Fall '15.

Some trends that really stood out to me while reviewing the Pre-Fall shows are the colors burgundy & camel paired with pastels such as light purple, blue, etc. A little bit of the 60's & 70's vibe still hanging around, and oxfords are definitely not going anywhere ladies- prepare to remain comfortable.

Which designer was your favorite from Pre-Fall?
