Fall’s Most Wanted | Black Boots

Fall is finally almost upon us and one of fall’s most wanted staples this year (and every year really, right?!) is a great pair of little black booties. For me, I look for something that won’t break the bank – especially these days with a little babe on the way. And something that will be versatile. I want to know if I can wear these booties with black skinny jeans, cut off shorts, little dresses, blue jeans, and more? If the answer is yes I know I am on the right track. Another thing I personally look for is comfort. I tend to go for more of a Chelsea Boot which usually is designed with a lower heel so that I can wear them all day long and multiple days in a row without having to bandage up my feet afterwards. I’ve done the leg work and narrowed down the best options in stores right now. Click below to shop!

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale | Early Access Favorites

All items part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!
Jacket: Topshop / Sunglasses: Illesteva / Bag: Rebecca Minkoff / Jeans: AG Jeans / Shoes: Sam Edelman / Top: Sea

Some of us (eh hem!) have been slightly seriously obsessing over the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. There is ONE more day to shop early access. This means you still have an opportunity to snag up your favorite pieces before everyone gets access this Friday - and items sell out fast! I used to think this sale was just Nordstrom marking down all of their old items to make way for new season, but I was wrong. They actually are marking down NEW fall items guys - what a way to jump start your fall wardrobe. Also, if you don't have a Nordstrom card and can't shop early access I recommend just going through and bookmarking all of your top picks so that on Friday morning you can be sure to get your favs before they sell out!

For myself I am going to have to focus mainly on shoes, bags, & accessories since my baby bump is going to just be getting bigger this fall but I am sooo jealous because some of my favorite jeans are included in the sale!

Shop some of my favorites above & below!

Flirting with Winter

Somehow I feel like it is almost Summer and then I very quickly get reminded that nope, we are still in January. Granted I am in Southern California and am not dealing with Winter Storm Juno 2016 but you know, it was like in the 50's this morning and all.

Denim + Heels

Pairing a great pair of denim with some heels (or a great pair of heels with some denim) is a combo I could go for everyday. Although I appreciate the women who can wear the full skirts and dresses with their heels on the daily I just find it so hard to put that on some mornings. Most mornings I really just want to slip into some comfy denim and sneakers so the fact I am even getting into heels in the morning is a big step for me.

Gray Days

Case of the Mondays? We have been having exceptionally gray days here in what is usually sunny San Diego. However today, things are looking up- I see the sun peeking through the clouds as I am typing. I was somewhat mimicking the weather in this outfit, shades of gray & moody blacks to start off the week.

// THE LBD //

November in Southern California calls for a LBD. When fall rolls around I love wearing an all black ensemble. As you have seen I am not against wearing all black in the summer either, but I guess it is more fitting now that it is fall/winter.
