Black + Blue

Hi guys! I apologize about being absent for the past week or so! I just got back from Ohio this past week and it is really hard to get back into the swing of things. I usually plan a day off after I get back to get my life back in order but this time I went right back to work and had a very busy week! Anyhow here are some photos I have been meaning to share with you for the past few days wearing the lace up top from TFNC London and of course my favorite Zara Jeans & booties. Hope you are all enjoying your weekend!

Citizen's Mark | Jeans, T-Shirt, & A Blazer

One of my go-to outfits when I want to feel comfortable, stylish, & put together includes a comfortable pair of jeans, a great T-shirt, and an amazing blazer to top it off. There is something about adding a structured element like a blazer to casual T-shirt & jeans outfit that makes you seem all the more put together.

Pop of White

Monday has me layering up in black, gray, & blue with pops of white accessories. I have always said white is my favorite color, and people have always corrected me to say "white is NOT a color!". Well, in my world it is. What are they going to say next? Black isn't a color? Sheesh!

Gray Days

Case of the Mondays? We have been having exceptionally gray days here in what is usually sunny San Diego. However today, things are looking up- I see the sun peeking through the clouds as I am typing. I was somewhat mimicking the weather in this outfit, shades of gray & moody blacks to start off the week.

Off We Go!

Any one of you doing some traveling this holiday season (which is so many of us!) knows the struggle of trying to maintain a semi-stylish outfit whilst keeping the comfort factor in check.

Uniform

I've been on the hunt for a great pair of vintage or vintage looking denim. Something made of a heavier denim, not too light (but not too dark either), and more of a straight leg than skinny. Until then, I am resorting to my favorite ripped jeans- sometimes you just have favorites

//WINTER FLORAL//

Hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend! I am easing back into the week in a floral mini and fluffy jacket. Normally I stick to a pretty minimalistic color palette; black, white, tan, stripes, etc. I am working on breaking out of that monotonous routine by adding more print & color into my wardrobe. I will always be a sucker for black & white but I love having fun and experimenting with new looks!

//CASUAL MONDAYS//

For the most part I try to wear things that I am truly comfortable in. It is the worst when you have to constantly adjust your outfit or can't move your arms. That's why on the weekends I take full advantage of comfort and throw on some sneakers, ripped jeans, and a t-shirt. Have to get my comfort casual looks in when I can!

| SIGNS OF FALL |

Signs of Fall are finally starting to show. At least in the wardrobe department. The weather- not so much. So hot today however I really can't complain because the ocean breeze tends to make everything a little bit better.

Pre-Fall 2015 Favorites

ACNE STUDIOS

GIVENCHY

PROENZA SCHOULER

ROCHAS

STELLA MCCARTNEY

TIBI

VALENTINO

My top picks from Pre-Fall 2015 are above and I am finding it hard not to be excited for this season- yes already! We haven't even finished Winter yet and I'm already dreaming up outfits for next October! I've always been one for the Fall/Winter seasons over Spring/Summer. Whatever makes you happy...right?

Out of all of the above images my favorite pieces are the purple Acne Studios beanie, those Stella McCartney shoes, and basically every thing Valentino. From the printed flower child dresses to the structure cape-coat and that beaded gown (red-carpet piece for sure), Valentino definitely ranks in as my favorite designer for Pre-Fall '15.

Some trends that really stood out to me while reviewing the Pre-Fall shows are the colors burgundy & camel paired with pastels such as light purple, blue, etc. A little bit of the 60's & 70's vibe still hanging around, and oxfords are definitely not going anywhere ladies- prepare to remain comfortable.

Which designer was your favorite from Pre-Fall?
