Dusk til Dawn

There is a time of day I love the most. It isn't quite dusk but it's that time of day right before when the sun starts to set and everything is covered in a beautiful warm glow. Kind of like someone doused the world in a sepia filter for an hour or so. I used to say I wish the entire day could be like that hour, but then I guess it wouldn't be so special.

 These photos were shot during that time of day and we have been having these amazing summer-like days lately so it made it that much better. The sun was going down over the buildings behind me but still we caught some of that sun halo thing that is fun to play with. 

I like to think of this look as an alternative to red or pink for a Valentine's day date night, or any date night really. Just because it is Valentine's Day doesn't mean you have to wear a red dress, a pink dress, or any color dress really. If you wear black we won't think your gothic- promise. This dress is the perfect mix of flirty & sexy. In other news, it's hump-day, two more days till the weekend (insert double hand raise emoji) and even better many of us will have a long weekend due to Monday being President's Day. I am going to take the long weekend to really relax, maybe go to the beach, and really just enjoy a few days off.
