Surrounding
yourself with an environment that speaks to your personal style & your vibe
can do wonders for your sense of well-being. I have always had a passion for
interiors but never really knew how to bring my vision to life. To be honest, it is still kind of hard to create what you see in your head but
with a little tweaking, adding different items, removing others, it is possible
to get pretty close.
I’ve found that I can spend hours scrolling different
interiors that really speak to me. I often Google “Parisian chic interiors” and
then float off to a land of chevron (or herringbone – apparently there is adifference) hardwood floors, gold leaf intricate frames, and minimalistic
artwork. Within the past year or so, I thought it might be fun to start creating
a space in my house that really speaks to my personal style. Until recently my interiors have always had things that I like but nothing that really got me all that excited. Also, I have to admit it
is not easy considering our humble abode is a little beach house with a limited
amount of square footage to work with. Nonetheless, I got to it.
One of my
first projects that I am working on currently is my gallery wall. Definitely a
work in progress to say the least but it is a fun work in progress! I had my
boyfriend paint my walls a nice white, and now of course I am dying for a dark
navy blue for this wall but that’s another story.
I
ordered these frames awhile back and had fun choosing images from some of my
favorite fashion magazines to fill them in. This is my favorite part because
you really get to add images to the wall that speak to you and that make you
happy. I also have some vintage frames I picked up at the antique store and
painted gold with this gold rub n’ buff I read about on another blog. I found the gold color that comes out to really be what I was looking for.
I
am excited to add different pieces to my gallery wall, it doesn’t always have to
be a photo. I actually have a faux cow skull that we painted white and gold
that I want to add to the mix along with some other little mirrors and fun
frames.
I
hope to share more of my room with you as I continue adding things to it that
make me smile. If you want to try your own gallery wall, check out some of the frames below along with some of my other favorite interior pieces.
xx
p.s. How amazing is that unicorn lamp below?!?!
I love gallery walls but I'm so OCD about everything being completely straight that I think I'd go bonkers trying to set it up. It's definitely one of those things that I would pay to have done haha, to save my own sanity. I love the things you've listed and next on my list is a sheepskin rug and those cute furry pillows!

I can spend hours just checking the interiors and pinning them. I like Parisian interior and I am sure I will implement some of these things to my place. When I move, I want to have my gallery wall too! I should start checking frames and the photos I would want there. All these pieces look good, especially the unicorn lamb. It is adorable :) xx
