Makeup Ready in 15 Minutes or Less

Although I am always open to trying new products, once I find something that works for me I am hooked. I've got my daily products down to a science - easy to apply and last all day! When I am rushing out the door in the morning and have about 10-15 minutes to get it together this is my go-to routine....

My makeup routine is overall pretty simple & low maintenance. I don't actually know a whole lot about makeup, I mean I wouldn't consider myself a makeup guru or anything, but there are a few products I can't live without! It tends to change slightly depending on what time of year and if I have a tan going on or not, but these are my current makeup obsessions!

Lancome 'Bienfait Tiente BB Cream' - First of all I have to say I am obsessed with BB & CC creams. I love how they combine so many different aspects of your beauty routine into one simple step. This particular one I purchased because it is noncomedogenic (my last one, not so much) and what's even better is it has SPF 30. A BB cream tends to work as a sort of foundation for me as it adds coverage & smoothness to my skin without weighing me down or making it appear like I have much makeup on at all. It basically looks like a natural foundation while moisturizing your skin with vitamins & antioxidants. I've been using the shade '2 CLAIR' during these cooler months when I have less of a tan.

Urban Decay 'Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer' - I love that this comes in a tube similar to lip gloss as it makes for easy application. I usually dab this under my eyes and on any blemishes that need covering up. I haven't been using this for too long but so far so good. Although, I am on the lookout for a good under-eye concealer so if you have any suggestions please chime in!

Tarte 'Amazonian Clay 12-hour blush' - Although I don't usually have my makeup on for a full 12 hours, I can say I have had it on for at least 10 and my blush doesn't budge. With this stuff a little goes a long way and from what I've read Tarte tends to use more naturally based products which I love!
Josie Maran 'Illuminizing Powder' - I use just a dash of this on my cheekbones, down the center of my nose and a tiny bit on my forehead. It acts as a highlighter with a tiny bit of shimmer to it - not too much to make you feel like you are wearing glitter though! I usually don't wear this everyday (although you could!), just when I am going out at night or getting a little more dressed up than usual.

Stila 'Major Major Mascara'- I have been using this mascara for the past 2 years or so. It originally started when I got false eyelashes put on and needed an oil free mascara to wear with my lashes. I was pretty much hooked instantly. It gives me volume and length and I love how thick the application brush is too! I do have to say though that I really prefer it when it is a few weeks old because it gets a bit thicker and easier to apply along with giving me a more full look on my lashes. When I buy a new one I usually put on one coat of the older mascara and one coat of the new mascara until the newer one gets a bit thicker. I do this for a few days to a week.

Anastasia Beverly Hills 'Dipbrow Pomade' in Taupe & Brow Brush #12 - I recently moved over to using the ‘Dipbrow Pomade’ by Anastasia Beverly Hills instead of their Brow Wiz pencil. I love how the pomade allows you to create a more definitive shape than the pencil does. It does take a little getting used to if you usually use a pencil or a powder, but after a few weeks you will fall in love.

MAC lipstick shade 'faux'-This is a new item I picked up over Black Friday weekend and I am obsessed. I was originally looking for a more nude lipstick but love that this one gives a little bit of the nude vibe without washing out my lips completely. It reminds me of a dusty rose color which gives me a more feminine romantic feel.

And there you have it - my daily 10-15 minute makeup routine!

  1. 10-15 minutes is pretty good time, sometimes I don't even have 5 minutes to put makeup on so I am like rushing of course the result is a failure but still I try :) I really want to try dipbrow pomade, I've heard so much about it.

  2. I Love a good BB cream as well! It combines so many different products into one and gives a sheer, natural coverage for a makeup free look :) Also, Dip brown and that brush are my jam! I've moved along to using it about a year ago after using eyebrow pencils for a decade. It is so life changing, isn't it? It also does not budge allll day, even if you scratch your brow or try to smear it. Really love your products you've chosen here for a fast and easy routine! I'll have to try that mascara soon! Hope you're having a great day!

  3. It's so funny, the Anastasia pomade was the first thing I bought and I ended up returning it because it was too confusing. I've been using the pencil for almost 2 years now and I've fallen in love and know how to do my brows a little better but I think I'm ready to "graduate" to the pomade haha. I've been hearing people talk about the pomade as being better. Can't wait to try it out. Thanks for sharing!
